The toughest jobs can sometimes be the most rewarding. Patrol Officer S. Thibault shares how she was inspired to join the Manchester Police Department and what she finds most rewarding in her 5 years on the job.


Officer R. “Duke” Harrington works hard every day to set a good example in his work with the Traffic Division. With 34 years on the job, Harrington shares why he believes being a good role model can have a positive impact on the community.


Officer A. Martens’ loyal partner has an especially good nose for crime. As a K9 Handler with 7 years on duty, Martens tells us the highs and lows of police work between man and man’s best friend.


“Lead by example” are words that Captain J. Mucci embodies every day in his work. With 22 years in the line of duty, Mucci outlines what he values in the leadership of the Manchester Police Department.

National LE Memorial Fund Patch

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund maintains the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C. and is the principal organizer of both National Police Week and a candlelight vigil held every May 13th to honor all fallen officers. The Memorial Fund is also responsible for the newly opened National Law Enforcement Museum.
